Roadtrip to Castelluccio

02. OCTOBER – 09. OCTOBER 2027 / CHF 1650

Only the direction is planned; everything else remains open. Our road trip to Castelluccio!

Program

We’ll jump into the minibus in Zurich and head south where the thermals still work in October and the mountains promise adventure.

Along the way, we’ll seek out Italy’s most beautiful flying sites: ground-handling meadows, soaring ridges, and launch sites with views to fall in love with. Good weather? We stay. Somewhere nearby looks tempting? We move on.Away from flying, we’ll experience Italy as it should be: small villages, warm hospitality, and outstanding cuisine. Every day brings new impressions, both in the air and on the ground.

At the end of the journey, Castelluccio di Norcia in Umbria awaits one of central Italy’s most spectacular flying destinations, surrounded by rolling hills and renowned as a paradise for ground handling and top landings.

The road trip can be perfectly combined with the following flying week in Castelluccio, making it the ideal start to two weeks filled with adventure, freedom, and unforgettable flights.
