There are many things I’m passionate about: traveling, cooking, photography, and free diving. But nothing has fascinated and motivated me for as long as paragliding.
I’m especially fascinated by takeoff — that moment when the lift of the paraglider raises your feet off the ground and gravity suddenly no longer matters.
I most enjoy flying in the hills of the pre-Alps. That’s where my flying style really shows: I love skimming close to the ground, making precise top landings, or simply feeling the dynamics of the wind.
My passion for flying doesn’t stop at Switzerland’s borders. Traveling with my paraglider is an endless source of inspiration for me. Discovering new flying areas, experiencing landscapes from a bird’s-eye view, and getting to know people and cultures along the way still motivate me even after 25 years of flying. And in recent years, flying has gained a new dimension for me — underwater: free diving, the play of a single breath, body and mind in a new element.
Despite all these adventures, my family is my solid foundation. I have three children, and I spend as much time with them as possible. They give my life depth and grounding, while also motivating me to follow my passions.
Professionally, almost everything in my life naturally revolves around flying as well. Since founding our flight school, one adventure has followed the next. We’ve supported countless people on their journey into the air, formed new friendships, and learned a great deal ourselves — from building a company and developing creative marketing ideas to implementing modern training concepts.
What I love most about it is the variety and working with our amazing team: no two days are the same, and I get to learn something new from many different personalities.
Flying doesn’t just mean moving through the air to me. It’s a way of life: staying curious, daring to try new things, playfully embracing unpredictability, and constantly striving to improve.
