After your trial day, the decision is clear — you want to fly, and you want to do it with paraworld.ch in Zurich or Lucerne! From your very first takeoff to earning your official paragliding license, we’ll guide, train, and support you every step of the way and beyond.
Our Complete Package is made for those who are ready to fully commit to the skies. You’ll have up to 18 months of training time and unlimited high flights, so you can progress at your own pace and chase confidence and altitude.
If you’re still deciding whether paragliding is truly your thing, start with the Basic Training Course. You can always add the High flight Training later once you’re hooked (and you probably will be!).

- cancellations due to bad weather, private trips etc. can't be considered
When and Where
Training Days
- high-flights take place 6 days a week; every day except Tuesday
- reduced from November to February; Friday to Monday
Our Sites
Most of our training sites are located around Lake Lucerne in Central Switzerland. All Sites are reachable by public services. We offer a shuttle bus to bring you from the Shop in Lucerne (CHF 10, only Weekends) and in Zurich (CHF 20 runs daily) to the site and back. On our website you can sign in for the shuttle bus or find / offer a ride.
FACTS AND FIGURES IN BRIEF
- The training takes about 30-35 days, freely divisible in 18 months.
- Total costs for training + material from about 6000 to 9000 Swiss francs, depending on whether you are a student and whether you choose new or second hand material.
- During the basic training we provide you with our material, during the high flights you need your own equipment.
