Tobias Kasal

Flight instructor, Reserve packer and Shop

Since my first takeoff in 2017, the fascination with flying has never let go of me. I especially enjoy cross-country flights in the Central Swiss Alps, discovering new routes and perspectives from the air.

I live in Lucerne, at the foot of Pilatus, and my absolute favorite flying area is our local mountain. That’s where I feel at home, can switch off, and find the perfect dose of adventure mixed with relaxed flying in the pre-Alps.

Professionally, I work as a flight instructor, emergency parachute packer, and as part of the shop team in Lucerne and Zurich. I take great pleasure in accompanying pilots on their journey and teaching them in a clear, practical way. My technical understanding helps me explain complex relationships in simple, clear terms.

Whenever possible, I travel with friends to other countries to discover new flying areas and experience the world from a bird’s-eye view.

Paragliding means freedom, community, and continuous development to me — and that’s exactly what I want to pass on.
