Kaspar Binz

Paragliding instructor at paraworld.ch in Zurich

With his extensive experience across different areas of aviation, he combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for flying.

His students especially appreciate his clear explanations and his calm, enjoyment-focused approach to flying. Kaspar describes himself as a “pleasure pilot” — he loves cross-country flights without performance pressure and places great value on the experience in the air.

Whether at Zugerberg, Crap Sogn Gion, or Cimetta — for him, it’s all about finding that moment of flow in the air. As president of the Delta- und Gleitschirmclub Vol Liber Grischun, Kaspar is also actively involved in the paragliding community beyond instruction.

Since 2020, Kaspar has been helping students and certified pilots at paraworld.ch to spread their wings, become even better, and discover the fascination of paragliding.

To me, flying means far more than simply being in the air — it’s a feeling of freedom, lightness, and connection with nature.

To me, flying means far more than simply being in the air — it’s a feeling of freedom, lightness, and connection with nature.

My students especially appreciate my clear, easy-to-understand explanations and my calm way of teaching how to fly. I see myself as a “pleasure pilot” — I love flying without performance pressure and simply watching the landscape drift by beneath me.

Whether at Zugerberg, Crap Sogn Gion, or Cimetta — for me, it’s all about that flow moment when everything comes together and you’re simply flying. As president of the Delta- und Gleitschirmclub Vol Liber Grischun, I’m passionate about sharing the excitement of paragliding beyond training and keeping the community alive.

On trips with me, participants can look forward to engaging briefings, plenty of airtime, inspiring conversations, and relaxed evenings in great company.

Since 2020, I’ve been supporting students and certified pilots at paraworld.ch on their journey to fly with greater confidence, experience, and freedom — while continually rediscovering the fascination and magic of paragliding.
